Trinity Worship Center is a progressive, relevant church community with a strong heritage, but a fresh vision for the present and the future. Our ministry has changed and expanded so much during the past several years, most people in Alamance County would be surprised to know that Trinity Worship Center has an eighty-six year history of consistent ministry to our community.
During the late 1980’s God birthed in the hearts of our pastor and leadership team a dream to move the church from a small neighborhood in East Burlington to our current location in West Burlington. We just felt God wanted us to reach as many people as possible, and that meant we needed to move and expand our campus. After purchasing land in 1997, phase one of our campus was completed. We grew quickly from a church of 175 Sunday worshippers to a church of several hundred. To accommodate our growth, we began the construction of phase two of our campus, a three story building with classroom, fellowship, and office space in 1999. We completed phase two in 2000 and have continued to grow to a church of 550-600 worshippers today.
“To Every Generation” is our current project of vision for the future. We’re working together, across the generations, young and old, to raise funds and position ourselves to build phase three, a two-story, 20,000 square foot multi-purpose building for recreation, student ministries, and gathering space.
Though we are thankful for our long history, we are continually looking to the future God has planned for us. We want to grow, and we are intentional about doing everything we can to reach our community and point people to Jesus Christ as the hope of the world.
