What is the Marriage Course?
The Marriage Course is for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether you have been together 1 or 61 years and whether you have a strong relationship or are struggling. It’s a seven session course set in a fantastic atmosphere, which concludes with an eighth session celebration event. Each night, you will be served with a candlelit meal at a romantic table for two while listening to practical talks that are informative and fun, played on DVD. The talks are interspersed with filmed clips of couples talking about their experiences of marriage and street interviews from around the world.
Throughout the evening, couples will have several opportunities to respond to one another and to work through helpful exercises together privately, while continuing to enjoy dessert and coffee.There is never any group work and you will never be asked to share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner.
What topic are covered in the Marriage Course?
Over seven sessions of the course, you will discover practical tools to help you:
* understand each other’s needs
* communicate more effectively
* grow closer through resolving conflict
* heal the ways you’ve hurt each other
* recognize how your upbringing affects your relationship
* improve relationships with parents and in-laws
* develop greater sexual intimacy
* discover each other’s love languages and much, much more!
The aim of The Marriage Course is to help couples grow closer and build a healthy relationship that will last a lifetime.

What about childcare?
Childcare, which will include a separate dinner for the children, will be provided by qualified childcare workers. We simply need to know your children’s names and ages so that we can prepare their meals and activities for each evening. If you need childcare, please provide this information and any special needs we need to know about. Cost for childcare is $5 per child per evening with a maximum of $15 per family.
How much does it cost?
There is a $20 fee per couple per evening. The Marriage Course manuals are $6 each and can be purchased on the first evening of the course. Pay for the course in advance ($160) and receive your 2 Marriage Course guest manuals for free!
